MeUndies and WCCW: Make A Ceramic Lidded Jar

Description: Join ceramicist Hana Ward (of Uno+Ichi) for a hands on clay workshop where you will make your very own food-safe lidded jar. In this workshop participants will construct a lidded jar using slab building techniques. Participants will personalize their jars by adding attachments, embellishments and other surface design techniques. Participants will also be able to select food-safe glazes for their jar.

All materials provided. Please come wearing clothes you don’t mind getting a little bit of clay or dust on. 

Workshop attendees will make their lidded jars on Thursday in the workshop and then can pick up their finished, kiln fired pieces two weeks later from the Women’s Center for Creative Work.
